Just as I promised, today is an absolute monster of an Update. I've got everything for you today from RVD to Jenna Jameson to Saturn, so enjoy it. However, as I like to do every Monday afternoon, we'll get into the RAW & Nitro previews, above all. On RAW, just about the only thing confirmed is yet another "big announcement," as well as the many rumors circulating around HBK, Chris Jericho, Earl Hebner, Steve Austin, Undertaker, and more. Anyway, Nitro is just a bit more lined up, as we'll see Bischoff vs. David Arquette [possibly the steel cage match-up] as well as Bigelow vs. Funk, & the mixed tag-match of Tammy/Candido vs. Paisely/Artist. Kimberly also has a major statement that she'll reveal tonight, too. Oh well, any way you look at it, tonight is gonna' be a big night, but what's a big night without reading a big-ass Update?...

If you're an ECW fan, you probably weren't too pleased to see my focus in the opener stayed mainly on "The Big 2." So, I've managed to pick up on the May 14th "Hardcore Heaven" card, straight from the folks at ECWwrestling.com. Keep in mind, what you'll read below isn't too big of a card yet, but it will grow.

+*+ After shocking everyone at "CyberSlam 2000," Justin Credible is scheduled to defend his newly won ECW World Title in a "three-way dance" against Tommy Dreamer and former partner as well as the center of a lot of controversy this week; Lance Storm.

+*+ In probably the second biggest match-up of the night, we will see the return of the man himself, Rob Van Dam, as he will take on [in another "three-way dance"] Sandman & Jerry Lynn.

+*+ They've proved themselves before, and might just do it again, as Japan's Gedo & Jado are very close to signing a match with Tajiri and Super Crazy. [What a match!] Both Gedo & Jado have told ECW they will be available for the show if needed, as they'll both be in the United States that week, anyway.

**SPEAKING OF ECW... Today-ONLY will you be able to find the **hottest** and **steamiest** pictures of ECW valet's JAZZ, ELECTRA & DAWN MARIE, straight from this past Saturday night's "CYBERSLAM 2000!" In a huge-ass gallery of photo's complied by ECW photographer Jim Quigley, you'll be able to see hot pictures of Jazz and Dawn Marie's *cat-fight* as well as many other hot-shots. This is something you don't wanna' miss, and it's up at my site - TWW - TheWrestlingWire.com, exclusively. So, just click on the website title for a direct link.**

Good Lord, I realize it must be hard for you, the reader, to sit through those blatant plugs of mine, but hell, click it if you realize what hard work I go through to write these Updates daily. Anyway, ONTO the next tidbit! After rummaging around some wrestlers' official websites, I came across something very interesting on Perry Saturn's. Basically, I can dub Perry with the label of being a true participant for the fans, as on his website, he not only answers every damn question on the comments board, but answers nearly every piece of e-mail he gets, as well. That "comment board" I briefly mentioned actually has some interesting things on it today, such as the fact that Perry's favorite valet is Trish Stratus for the fact that "she's the most beautiful woman" he's seen in a longtime, Perry hates racism and neglect, and even the note that Saturn's favorite type of music is rap and his favorite artists are DMX & Snoop Dogg. If you've gotta' question for the WWF SuperStar, you can be sure that he'll answer it over on the board there, so bust on over to PerrySaturn.com!

Keeping on track with WWF news & notes, after over three months of recovery on a broken foot, Stevie Richards is ready to return to the WWF ring. When we last saw Stevie, he was dressed up almost every occasion, mocking every wrestler he had the chance to get. However, in his most recent column in "WWF Magazine," Stevie says that the next time you see him [which will be very soon] he will have dropped the impersonation gimmick. Richards talked about that after a quick-chat with the WWF Creative Team, he may turn into a persona he's developed himself, "Superstar" Stevie Richards; a boastful, egotistical character.

In a very interesting piece of information, Eric Bischoff, when on his half-year hiatus from WCW, didn't just "sit around" at home waiting to be contacted by someone else. In fact, Bischoff actually started his very own production company called "Fresh Horses Production Agency," in which he hopes making it to the big game in Hollywood, one day. However, now that he's back in WCW, the company is being put on a short break, and will only tend to it once time opens up in his now busy schedule.

On Saturday's "WCW: Live!" program, Shawn Stasiak finally cleared up his reason for contractual termination while with the WWF. Most people think that he taped various wrestlers conversations when they were unaware, however Stasiak swore while on the show that his reason was "...the complete truth," and he "swears" it. According to Stasiak, it all happened during a car-ride in Canada when he and a few other WWF wrestlers were having trouble reading the French road-signs. After a while, they became lost and actually got into what Stasiak said was a very funny argument, and since he had a recorder with him, he figured he'd tape the hilarious quarreling. Near the end of the car-ride, one of the wrestlers noticed the tape-recorder, and asked Stasiak if he'd taped the whole thing, while Stasiak, thinking the tape was useless and unimportant, simply said "No." The next day during a WWF house show, several wrestlers [as a joke] went through his gym-bag when they found the tape-recorder with the wrestlers conversation from the previous day. The whole story, when reported to Jim Ross backstage at that show, was blown way out of proportion, and before he knew it, his WWF contract had been decimated.

Ever since Linda McMahon's announcement on RAW last week, regarding the return of "Stone Cold" Steve Austin at "Backlash," sales of Austin's merchandise has jumped a whopping ten percent, putting him in second place behind the surging Acolytes. If WWF's looking for a real jump-start, then HBK's rumored appearances tonight and at "Backlash" would be quite a smart ordeal. Oh well, I guess we'll just have to wait until tonight to see...

Now, I honestly did mean it when I said I had a huge Update today. However, typing up over twenty paragraphs of news is absurd, so, I've put together one of those familiar groupings you've seen in some previous Updates. Basically, what you see below is the biggest news and rumors of this week and today ... summarized in little itsy-bitsy sentences...

**~ One of the WWF's most gorgeous valet's, Tori, may very well break away from X-Pac and the rest of DX to pursue her goal of gaining the WWF Women's Championship. Basically, Tori would become a face chasing after a heel Stephanie McMahon's title...

**~ Although those who made the bids have wishes to remain anonymous, Brad Siegel & Ted Turner have apparently had "over five serious offers" to those who were interested in buying out WCW. These investors were all generously turned down, however.

**~ WWF's own Tazz has reportedly told his real-life cousin, ECW's Chris Chetti, that he needs to lose weight if he wants him to pull some strings for a WWF contract offer. In exact words as reported in an interview with Wade Keller in "The Torch" newsletter, Tazz humorously did tell Chetti that he "...should get on a treadmill from now until July -- nonstop." *

*~ One of the more predominant rumors of the past year, Sting's gimmick, is back out of the bag. Word has it that the former WCW World Champion is interested in simply changing his costume, but it's unknown at this time if he'll go back to 'early-90's crewcut' Sting.

**~ WWF's Rikishi is expected to not only take a major heel turn in the next couple months, but may also start up a big feud with The Big Show. As we saw this past week on Smackdown, something between the two behemoths is starting up. Basically, this means that Big Show's "dancing," if you will, gimmick may stick around longer than planned.

**~ As reported earlier in the month, WWF is extremely interested in the likes of luchadores Juventud Guererra and Psychosis. Both of the WCW stars' contracts run out on September the 1st, so we'll see if the WWF takes action on the youngsters, as Raven's contract runs out that week, also.

**~ WCW's sold a minimal 3,200 tickets for their upcoming "Slamboree" PPV, and are even at it again by giving away tickets through radio contests and such in the Kansas City area. WCW was hoping for 8,000 sales, however, with only a couple weeks left, those chances look glum.

**~ In only a short few weeks, expect "those damned" Dudley Boyz to start up a mega-feud with none other than The Acolytes. Word has it that the stepping stone into this feud might just be the protection of the APA stopping a deadly Dudley powerbomb.

**~ To kill two very ridiculous rumors, "No," Jenna Jameson isn't talking with the WWF, and "No," Dennis Rodman [now that he's done with the NBA] will not return back to a wrestling ring. The way I heard Jenna's rumor was that she was in talks with the WWF for weeks now, but "finally gave up." ...Yeah, right. Anyway, as far as Rodman's goes, that's merely speculation on many peoples minds, and I hope this helps clarify that we won't see that, at least for anytime soon.

**~ I'm not going to kill nor confirm this rumor, but there is word going around that Debra may actually make her WWF return, along with her fiancee Steve Austin, at Backlash. Sure, it does sound logical, but on the other hand, she did turn down a mighty-big contract offer earlier in the year to take a break from Pro Wrestling.

**~ Speaking of big rumors, ECW's Kid Kash is said to be "very close" to signing with WCW, despite what you may have heard. On his official website, KidKashECW.com, he makes no attempt to deny or explain the rumor, other than saying he'll try to be as loyal as he can to Paul Heyman and ECW.

**~ Finally, to close off these mini-tidbits, Rey Mysterio Jr. told Dave Meltzer on his "Eyada" radio show that he plans to step back into the ring by the end of June. Rey says that he has trouble running, jumping, and merely standing on his own two feet, so it's still quite a while before he reaches the 100% barrier.
