WCW Hotline Report - 4/20/00 Hosted by Chad Damiani Report by Wrestling Arena - Ratings, this week, disappointed people even though they were expected. - Russo and Bischoff want to go head to head with WWF RAW from 9-11 and have Thunder move back to Thursdays. It is very unlikely that this will happen. - Early estimates of WCW Spring Stampede buyrate seem amazing. - A lot of talk going on with WCW Saturday Night. One of the major ideas is to break Saturday Night away from WCW and make it an indy promotion having it's own angles, etc. and not dealing very much with WCW PPV buzz. This might even result in an invasion of the indy WCW invading WCW on Nitro and Thunder. Another idea is to make WCW a recap show and to explain many angles and have in depth interviews and informing non-internet fans about "smart" angles. Nothing has yet been confirmed for WCWSN. - Expect more video webcasts on WCW.com including video webcasts of Monday's WCW Live!
