Although it doesn't seem that way, today is a very big day for WCW. It's the very first PPV that will go under rule of Vince Russo and Eric Bischoff, and they'll bring plenty of surprises with them. In my first tidbit, you'll see the complete card and my predictions, as well as information on where to watch it, instead of spending $29.95. Anyway, as I've said, it's a big day, and I've wasted enough time already, so, enjoy the Update... Chicago, Illinois is the host to tonight's "Spring Stampede." Chi-Town is in for quite a PPV. Below, you will see my predictions for each match, as well as any other information about the PPV. **--* WCW World Heavyweight Title Match Diamond Dallas Page VS. Jeff Jarrett {Mikey's Prediction: Jeff Jarrett. However, I think he'll lose it tomorrow on Nitro.} **--*WCW United States Title Tournament [PARTICIPANTS...] *Booker *Billy Kidman *The Cat *The Wall *Vampiro *Sting *Scott Steiner *Sid {Mikey's Prediction: Booker T. is my favorite wrestler, so in wishful thinking, he'll win. On a side-note, The Cat's first round opponent in this bracket will be a mystery opponent. My guess: "Macho Man" Randy Savage.} **--* WCW Hardcore Championship Terry Funk VS. Norman Smiley {Mikey's Prediction: Norman Smiley with help from outside interference.} **--* Six Man Elimination Cruiserweight Title Match [PARTICIPANTS...] *Juventud Guerrera *The Artist *Chris Candido *Crowbar *Shannon Moore *Lash LeRoux {Mikey's Prediction: Crowbar. I bet we see Candido and Crowbar end up the dominant ones in this match, as well as the debut of Tammy Lynn Sytch. Remember I said that, because I'm almost positive she will. Anyway, Crowbar will come away with the victory.} **--* WCW Tag Team Title Tournament [PARTICIPANTS...] *Mamalukes *Harlem Heat 2000 *Buff Bagwell & Shane Douglas *Team Package {Mikey's Prediction: Team Package should come away on top with this one. I bet we see Team Package and Buff/Shane in the "finals" of this match, or however it works.} <*-----*> **FREE-LIVE-PLAY-BY-PLAY with LIVE SNAP-SHOTS of tonight's "Spring Stampede" will be exclusively at TheWrestlingWire.com. Click --->*HERE*<--- if you don't want to spend thirty bucks.** <*-----*> Where else, besides RAW or Smackdown, could you see a classic match between Chris Benoit and Chris Jericho? Stampede Wrestling has arranged the two to headline the May 31st card, for a show dedicated to Stu Hart, on a tribute to his 85th birthday. The show is being called "Stampede Corral," and several other WWF, WCW, & ECW stars will be on-hand, so, for the entire card, please check out StampedeWrestling.Com. By the way ... the card hints that the WWF Intercontinental Title will take a part in this match, in some fashion... Sweet Sassy-Malassy, there's an ass-load of injuries in the WWF for the month of April, and it's only the 16th! I've scripted together a list of those who are injured, and their projected return-dates, as you see below... *Technically, he's not "injured," but, British Bulldog's rehabilitation for painkillers is finally done with, and he's up in Calgary training, as we speak. No firm date regarding his return as been set, although summertime is a good estimate. *Undertaker ripped his titty, err ... pectoral muscle in late-January, and originally was not scheduled to return to a WWF ring until JUNE! However, progress has come along great, and 'Taker is even rumored to show up on RAW tomorrow night. That hasn't been confirmed by any notable sources, so I'll keep you posted. *One half of "Too Cool," Brian Christopher, [AKA Grand Master Sexay.] is all set to return to the mat. Christopher has a speedy recovery after knee surgery, and is touring with the WWF this weekend, however, he's just taking it easy. Grand Master may even be on RAW, as well. *The husband of the ever-so lovely Luna, [yikes] Gangrel, still has his return set for four weeks. Currently, he's wearing a sling to prevent any further harm to his separated shoulder. *Former WWF Tag-Team champion, Billy Gunn, has the longest projected return; which points straight at OCTOBER! According to Jim Ross's "Ross Report" on WWF.com, Gunn is in severe pain, and surgery only went "mediocre.." *To close off the disabled list, Kane's broken hand should be completely healed no-later than one month. Kane's one tough bastard, considering the hand was broken for three weeks previous to the confirmation of the fracture, and he made no mentions or complaining remarks about it.  FREE CELEBRITY SCREENSAVERS ..
