Fittingly, today's 4/11, and I've got just the information you'll need to pass through the day. But, before I mention the future, I wanna' jump into the past ... as in last night's thoughts on RAW and Nitro. Sure, we didn't see Undertaker, Stone Cold, a Triple-Deck Cage Match, Ultimate Warrior, or even the Road Warriors...but, no matter how you look at it, last night was the best night of RAW vs. Nitro competition you've seen in quite some time. RAW didn't put up as good of a counter as I would've hoped, but Taka vs. HHH was a great match, they took the titles off of Edge and Christian, and we saw our first glimpse into April 30th's "Backlash." Nitro was simply off the hook, and I guess the one thing out of everything that I really liked was Kidman vs. Hogan. Anyway, this is getting to be too long of an opener already, so just do me a favor and enjoy the damn Update! *I'm gonna' make this quick, but after you're done reading, be sure to bust a move on over to The Wrestling Wire, because we're giving away prizes of all sorts of PRIZES in ->LIVE TRIVIA<-, which starts at 6pm est. Sabu could very well be following in the footsteps of Mike Awesome, pertaining to his jump to WCW. As you know, Sabu did attempt a similar leap of promotions close to a month ago, but was nervous and threatened in the same thought, and ended up sticking with ECW. Now that it's possible to come up with "trade's," so to speak, WCW would be more than interested in the suicidal, genocidal man in Sabu. After what went down on Nitro last night, what you see below looks to be the current Spring Stampede card. I'm not just take a wild stab or anything, as Phil Varlese of The Wrestling Guys radio show announced it on that show today, as well as several other respected journalists... *-* Diamond Dallas Page vs Jeff Jarrett - WCW Title Match *-* Hulk Hogan vs Kidman *-* Sean Stasiak vs Curt Hennig *-* Sting vs Vampiro *-* Sid vs The Wall *-* Ric Flair vs Scott Steiner or Shane Douglas *-* Kevin Nash vs Mike Awesome *-* All vacant belts [TV, US, TAG, C.W.] will all be around new waists. Still no word on whether a tournament will take place, or what the case might be. Staying on page here, I'm going to continue the Update with some more tidbits coming off of Nitro last night. Obviously, Mike Awesome made his debut, and is signed, sealed, and delivered in a contract with WCW. Now, ECW did get a cash settlement [along with various other agreements] for allowing Awesome to debut on Nitro, however, who will Mike job the ECW World Belt to? Wednesday night, expect to see either Raven or Tommy Dreamer to walk away the new 'Champ. ECW was planning on feuding Raven and Dreamer anyway going into Summer, so Awesome's leaving didn't really screw up things, but rather just speeded up the script. Speaking of ECW, Electra is at it ... again! Yes, for the THIRD, yes THIRD time, Electra has posted a strip-show of herself on ECW's website, ECWwrestling.com. If you thought one and two were better, wait 'till you see THIS ONE! This past weekend during an ECW House Show, Electra pulled in Mikey to watch her go at it. Nah, unfortunately, it wasn't me, Mikey G., but rather the lucky Mikey Whipwreck. The Whipper's got himself quite a few pictures of him snorin' away in Electra's 'pillows,' so to view the pictures, just simply click -->*HERE.*<-- Obviously, as if you couldn't tell by now, the pics are quite explicit, and this is my warning. [Man, and people wonder why ECW's website is getting 500,000 regular visitors on a daily basis.... Whew!] In some WWF news, The Big Show might be goofing off on camera, but behind the scenes, several are nagging him about buckling down on his weight problem. It's finally begun to be a weekly comment from Paul Wight's doctors, saying that at 420 pounds standing tall, he really should cut down to under the 400 mark if he wants to continue wrestling in a few years. This may not be as hard of a task as you could imagine, because just when he jumped from WCW over to WWF, he was an astonishing 500 pounds, well over what he sits at now, and to lose that much weight is quite an astonishing feat. In the past two weeks, WWF's been chatting on and off with Shawn Michaels about some various notes pertaining to his WWF status. Michaels says that he would be more than interested in working a few dates with ECW if the price was right, as well as telling the WWF he wants to have some more of his TWA students get a WWF tryout. But, don't expect WWF to be so quick to grant HBK's wish. Vince and others in the front office have told Shawn, he'll get what he wants as long as he works a few major dates in the up-and-coming future. Lastly, you may have heard that Eric Bischoff was guest to an AOL chat the other night. Eric made a ton of interesting comments, of which you'll only see the more prominent one's made, below... *^^ Mike Awesome HAS signed a contract with WCW. *^^ WCW Monday Nitro will remain at 2 hours a week. *^^ WCW is discussing a Canadian tour. There is a good chance it will happen in the future. *^^ Bill Banks has also joined the Creative Team. *^^ Eric Bischoff has NOT had any conversations with the Warrior. Bischoff noted that Russo may have. *^^ Randy Savage is enjoying his time off. Currently, no attempts, whatsoever, have been made to score Randy back into WCW. *^^ Finally, he noted that he's simply ecstatic to get his job back with WCW, and vows he will take WCW atop, once again.  FREE CELEBRITY SCREENSAVERS ..
