Dave Scherer of 1wrestling.com reported that it has been announced that Goldberg will be appearing at Nitro on Monday. Scherer said that Gene Okerlund mentioned Goldberg's appearance during a WCW webcast last night. However, Goldberg, who was a part of the webcast, acted as if he didn't know anything about it. Scherer said there are rumors that the first Goldberg heard of this was when Okerlund mentioned it to him during the webcast. Dave also reports Thunder did a 1.7 rating with a 2.8 share last night off of hours of 1.8 (2.9 share) and 1.6 (2.7 share). It was actually pretty close to Nitro's number. There has been friction between WCW and ECW regarding Kansas City. According to Dave Scherer, ECW wanted to hold Hardcore Heaven PPV at the Muncipal Auditorium a week after WCW held their Slamboree PPV in Kemper Arena (also in KC.) WCW has a contract with Kemper Arena that says that the city (which owns both buidlings) cannot have a wrestling show in any city building 30 days after a WCW PPV.
